Senior Kings And Queens Look Good In Brandon

The Senior Hapnot Kings and Queens were at one of the biggest volleyball tournaments in the province this past weekend the Neelin Dig in Brandon.

 

There were 40 boys teams and 30 girls teams from all over Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

 

The Senior Queens finished with a record of 9-5 and won the B-Side beating John Taylor in the final 2 sets to one. The Senior Kings went 8-4 and they lost in the semi's on the B-Side to Altona 27 to 29 and 21 to 25.

 

They will  both prepare for Zones which will be coming up the weekend of November the 17th and 18th.

 

Girls are here in Flin Flon and Boys will be in Cranberry.

 

The JV Queens hosted a tournament in Flin Flon and looked very good beating both the Pas and Thompson in the round robin before beating MBCI 25 to 6 and 25 to 16 in the final.

 

The JV Queens are ranked fifth in the province and they are getting ready for Zones this weekend in Norway House, the Kings head to the Pas.
