The Flin Flon Bombers are coming off one of their best month's in franchise history finishing October at 10-1 and some of their players are being recognized for their contributions.
The SJHL released their Players Of The Month for October and three of them are Flin Flon Bombers.
Jacob Vockler is the SGEU MVP Of The Month. In 11 games Vockler fired 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points and is second in overall scoring to team mate Alexi Sylvestre.
Sylvestre was selected the Borgault Forward Of The Month scoring 9 goals and adding 15 assists. Sylvestre is having a season to remember leading the league in scoring and sitting second in assists and fourth in goals.
Bomber defenseman Noah Houle is garnering a lot of NCAA attention and looks like he will be one of the top offensive defensemen this year. Houle was named the Super U Defenseman Of The Month and leads all rear guards in points with 22 points including 3 goals.
Flin Flon is also the number one ranked team in the nation and will host the Melfort Mustangs at the Whitney Forum tonight with puck drop at 7:30.
