Hapnot Collegiate continues to dominate soccer in Northern Manitoba and both the Kings and Queens were able to defend their Zone titles.

 

Both Hapnot squads came into the weekend as the top ranked teams  and neither disappointed with dominant performances.

 

The Kings reeled off wins over Cranberry, Coss Lake and Norway House in the round robin out scoring the opposition 23 to 0.

 

They would meet a good Moose Lake team in the final and won a nail biter 1 to 0.

 

The Queens beat The Pas, Cross Lake and Norway House by a combined score of 15 to 0.

 

The Queens also played Moose Lake in the final and won 3 to 0.

 

Pretty impressive as both the Hapnot squads didn't allow a single goal in the tournament.

 

Next up will be Provincials coming up in Dauphin the weekend of October the 12th to the 14th.
