The Creighton Kodiaks will kick off their much awaited season today as they will host the Rosthern Longhorns at the Creighton field in their home opener at 4pm.

Creighton has moved into Conference 4 and will face their stiffest competition since their program began over 10 years ago.

I had a chance to catch up with Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk and we talked about how his team is not only preparing for Rosthern today but their transistion into Conference 4.

We also discussed what veteran  players to watch for this year and some of the rookies that could make an impact.
