After a very extensive search the OCN Blizzard have announced a new Head Coach for the up coming MJHL season.

 

Darren Naylor who hails from White Rock BC, brings a ton of experience to the table as a player and a coach.

 

Naylor played in 8 different  leagues as a player including a stint in the WHL with the Swift Current Broncos and Victoria Cougars.

 

The last 4 seasons he has been the Head Coach and GM of the Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL.

 

In 192 games his coaching record was 111- 71- 1-9 and he took his team to the finals this past season.

 

The Blizzard are hoping under the direction of Naylor that they can get back to the post season for the first time since the 2017-18 season.

 

Naylor replaces Billy Keane who did not have his contract renewed after the end of the 2021-22 regular season.
