The Norman Northstars went 1-2 on the road this past weekend to finish up their season in the Manitoba Midget Triple A League.

 

On Friday the Northstars lost to Yellowhead 8 to 1, but did rebound to beat the Southwest Cougars 4 to 1 on Saturday.

 

Flin Flon's Magnus Pearson scored two goals in that game. The Cougars did win the rematch yesterday 6 to 0.

 

Norman's season has come to an end and they will finish up at 9-27-4, 10th overall.

 

Even though they will not qualify for the post season they did show a significant improvement this year.

 

Norman was led offensively by Thompson's Brady Krentz who was their top scorer this year with 64 points including 26 goals.
