Week number 2 of the Koop Geotechnical Ski Series wrapped up on Saturday with 10 people braving the elements and posting times last week.

 

Once again there were lots of great prizes that were handed out courtesy of  of local sponsors.

 

In the Participaction Event for males,  Kriss Lee won a gift certificate from Demb's Kick It and Laurie Shaw won a gift certificate from Ped's Threads in the Female Participaction.

 

Once again, Jamie Schmidt was the fastest male skier and won a gift certificate from Baba's Bulk Bin.

 

Cindy Lee was the fatest female skier and picked a gift certificate from the Orange Toad.

 

Week number three is now officially under way and will be a 4.3 km Open Technique on the Carlilse trail. Start and finish at Korotash  corner on the north end of the loop.

 

Good news, it is going to start warming up on Wednesday and we should see some more people out enjoying the trails and competing for prizes.
