The Creighton Kodiaks are ready to kick off their 5th season in the Northern Saskatchewan Football league as they hit the road to Sandy Bay to play the Timber Wolves this afternoon, 4:30 Manitoba time.
Creighton is coming off a 4-1 season and did beat Sandy Bay in their one meeting last year 55-40 in the first game for both teams.
Sandy Bay finished the season at 3-2 , just behind the Kodiaks and did not make the playoffs. You know redemption will be on their minds.
Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk says they will be ready." We will have 16 players in our line-up this afternoon and we are still waiting for a couple more to make their way back to the line-up. It is a beautiful day and you can only practise so long. We need to get out and play somebody, hit somebody. I don't know what to expect from Sandy Bay but we will be ready to go."
102.9 CFAR will provide updates through out the day and will have a complete wrap up on flinflononline.com.
