The SR Creighton Kodiak Girls basketball team were in Norquay this past weekend and had their best showing of the season.

After beating Preeceville and Canora, the Kodiaks played Naicam in the final.

With only 8 players the Kodiaks dominated and ended up winning the Championship 56-41.

This will give the Kodiak Girls lots of confidence as they head off to Carrot River next weekend for Conference Championships.

The Kodiak Boys will host here.

The Hapnot SR Boys were in Swan River for the Kinsmen Tip Off Tournament this past weekend.

The Kings beat Russell 68-34 then lost to Swan River 64 to 52. They would rebound to beat Neelin out of Brandon 49-48 to place third.

This is a big weekend for Hapnot as they will host Zones starting Friday.
