Provincial Roundup

It was a great weekend for the Hapnot Wrestling team that went down to Winnipeg for Provincials.

Christina McKay and Cody Quinn both won Gold medals, Hunter Lee won Silver, Kade Walker a Bronze and Darwin Wasylciw placed fourth.

Hapnot came in third for Provincial standings, which is sensational for a team of only five members.

Congratulations to all the students and coach's, Murray and JO-Anne Skeavington, and Derek Abrahamson.

The Hapnot Senior Boys basketball team were in Provincials this past weekend in Swan River.

The Kings got hit hard by injuries and lost both their games to Neelin out of Winnipeg, and Swan River. It was still a very successful season , where the Kings were able to pick up their third straight Zone title, something that had never been done in the school's history in boy's basketball.

The Kings put up a 27-4 record, and were ranked fifth in the Province, Hapnot's highest ranking ever. Congrats to the coach's Don Dyke, Neil Campbell and rest of the Kings, who have five players returning for next season.
