Emery Olauson's stint as Bomber Assistant Coach did not last long, as he has taken the job as new Head Coach of the Fayetteville Fire Antz of the Southern Professional League.

This is a team Emery knows well, spending two years as a player with the Fire Antz between 2007 and 2009. Emery was also a front runner for the coaching job entering this season.

Even though Emery's stint with the Bombers was a short one, he says he will definately miss Flin Flon.

" Me and my girl friend moved up from Tennessee, not knowing what to expect with a little mining town as far north as either one of us has been." " What a great surprise, it is really hard to leave Flin Flon, and hopefully we will have a chance to come back one day and see everyone." " It is a great hockry community and a great town all around."

Emery will begin his new post with the Fire Antz this weekend, and the Flin Flon Bomber organization wish him all the best.
