The Hapnot Kings and Queens Senior basketball teams were in the Pas this past weekend for pre zones.

The Hapnot Kings won all three  of their games including an 84-61 win against Thompson in the final.

The Kings are ranked no.5 in the province their highest ranking ever.

The Hapnot Queens beat the Pas and Cross Lake before losing to a very good Thompson team in the final. The Thompson girls are ranked third in the province.

The Hapnot Kings will be in Swan River this weekend and the Queens will be in Winnipeg for the Transcona tournament.

The Creighton Kodiak girls were in Swan River and went 2-1 beating Wiliam Montgrant Collegiate and the Pas. The Kodiak's only loss came to Kamsack.

Kaitlan Grant was named a tournament all star.
