The Norman Northstars have come off their best weekend of the season, taking three out of a possible four points against the Kenora Thistles.

Doug Korman , the long time coach who was informed he would not be coming back for his 20th season behind the bench three seasons ago has mysteriously appeared again.

John McNevin the Northstars President, who took over coaching the team this season decided to step down over a week ago , and the team once again will have Korman in charge.

The Northstars responded by losing to Kenora, 2-1 in a shootout on Saturday, and winning 4-3 in a shootout on Sunday.

Flin Flon's Aaron Beauchamp, and Riley Mcdonald both had 1 assist over the weekend.

Norman's record improves to 2-20-0-1, and will host Yellowhead this weekend.
