All 3 gyms were very busy this past weekend at Hapnot, McIssac and Many Faces, where Flin Flon hosted a 16 team JV volleyball tournament.

 

On the boy's side it was  creighton defeating Hapnot in the final 2 sets to none.

 

Hapnot was 3-0 in the round robin and beat The Pas in the quarters and Roblin in the semis.

 

Creighton was also 3-0 in round robin with wins over Thompson and Cranberry in the playoffs.

 

On the girls side, there were 2 teams from Flin Flon.

 

Flin Flon A were 0-3 in round robin and lost in the quarters to Cranberry.

 

Flin Flon B were 1-2 in round robin and lost to Creighton in the quarters.

 

Creighton won the Consolation over Cross Lake 2-0.

 

Cranberry won the final beating MBCI out of The Pas 2 sets to none.

 

The Creighton Kodiak Senior girls were in Naicam for Conferences.

 

The Kodiaks beat Porcupine Plain and Hudson Bay before losing to Naicam.

 

This set up the final round robin game against Carrot River with the winner going to Regionals.

 

The Kodiaks beat Carrot River 2 sets to 1 in a match that went back and forth all night.

 

Naicam finishes first, with Creighton second. Both teams qualify for Regionals in a location yet to be determined.
