Bombers Make Moves

The Bombers will have a different look when they face Estevan tonight. Mike Reagan has confirmed three different player acquisitions.

The Bombers have picked up Austin Calladine from the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL. Austin is a player the Bombers have had on their radar screen for a while and were hoping to get him if things did not work out in the WHL. He will be in the lineup tonight.

Flin Flon has also picked up 19 year old 6 ft 3 Defenseman Connar Bass from the Calgary Mustangs of the AJHL for futures. Connar is very mobile and the Bombers feel he will really help out their back end.

The third deal is Dean Allison who comes to the Bombers from Port Alberni of the BCHL. Allison is an 18 year old forward, the Bombers picked up during their Southern road swing, and he will make his Bomber debut tonight.

Flin Flon is 5-5 and try to improve on a 3-2 home record tonight when they host Estevan. The Bombers beat the Bruins 3-1 at Spectra Place last Wednesday. The Bruins are playing good hockey with back to back wins on this road trip including a shoot out win in Melfort last night.

Puck drop is 7:30, and don't forget to get there early for a special tribute to Bomber great Ray Martynuik before tonight's game. Tonight's game will not be broadcast on CFAR-590.
