Million Dollar Hole In One Wraps Up

The 12th Annual CFAR 590 Tri- Service Million Dollar Hole In One wrapped up Sunday at Creekside and Foster Park.

Over 50 golfers competed and it came down to Don Melien, Keenan Kennedy, and new comer Ed Paul who had the best 3 shots in the semi-finals. Don Melien put a ball 3 feet 11 inches away.

Keenan Kennedy who has played in the semi-finals the past 4 years ends up being the 2013 winner with a shot which wound up being 43 feet away from the hole.

Don Melien was second with a shot 44 feet and 4 inches away.

Ed Paul finished third 79 feet 7 and a half inches away.

A big thank you to all the volunteers from the Lions, Rotary and Kinsmen Clubs plus the many people who came out to support this event. The proceeds this year are one of the best in the last 5 years and will go to benefit the Lion's Spray Park in Creighton.
