Another member of the Flin Flon Bombers has received a Division 1 scholarship for the up coming season.

 

Graduating d-man Calvon Boots will be joining teammate Nate Hooper at American International Collegiate this fall.

 

Boots not only was one of the league's best defensemen, but was considered one of the best all around players in the league, and his  tenacious style was  contagious.

 

Boots spent two years in a Bomber uniform appearing in 99 games where he picked up 71 points. He also had 7 points in 11 career playoff games.

 

Calvon was a finalist for this past season's top SJHL Defensemen and was a member of the 2017-18 SJHL All Rookie Team.

 

This is the fourth Division 1 Scholarship for the Bombers this season.
