Congratulations to Flin Flon's Alyssa Patterson on signing with the Mennonite Canadian University Blazers Women's Volleyball team.

 

Patterson is a tremendous local Flin Flon athlete who was a three year starter with the Senior Hapnot Kopper Queens.

 

She is also a former Junior Varsity Athlete Of The Year and is one of only a handful of non-- Winnipeg players to receive an invitation to the Manitoba Provincial team, where she made the practise roster for 2017-18.

 

Patterson an all around athlete also represented the Queens in basketball,soccer and track and field.

 

Jayme Menzies the Blazers head coach had this to say about the addition of Patterson. " It is a pleasure to see Alyssa play volleyball, her energy and passion are contagious. I am really looking forward to working with such a natural and versatile athlete."

 

Patterson will be on the court for the Blazers this fall.
