JV Basketball Zones took place in Easterville for the first time ever this past weekend. Hapnot Collegiate represented themselves well in both boy's and girls competition.

The Queens went undefeated beating Chemawawin, Oscar Lathlin and ST.Theresa Point to go 3-0 in the round robin.

This would put them in the final and they beat Oscar Lathlin 35-29 to claim the Girl's Zone.

The Kings looked like they were on their way to capturing the boy's crown with round robin wins over Chemawawin, Moose Lake and Grand Rapids.

ST. Theresa Point upset them in the semi which put them in the third place game where they beat Chemawawin 69-56.
