The Cross Lake Islanders are moving on to the Norman Midget AA final after beating the North Of 53 Midget CO-OP Bombers two games to one in their best of 3 series this past weekend.

The weekend started well for Flin Flon who won the first game 7-5 on Friday.

Cross Lake rallied to win 6-5 yesterday and hung on for an 8-6 win earlier today. The Islander's Christian Ross held the hot hand picking up 5 points including a hat-trick in pacing his team to the win.

Cree Nicholas(2), Damon Constant(2), Chayce Busby and Blake Alexander scored for the Bombers.

Cross Lake will now move on to face the Thompson King Miners for the championship starting next Friday.
