The Norman Northstars just ran out of time in their game with the Interlake Lightning yesterday, dropping a hard fought contest 7 to 6.
Norman scored three goals in the third period and ended up with 49 shots, one of their best efforts of the season.
Norway House's Richard Ducharme led the way with a pair of goals. Flin Flon's Jordan Pfoh added a goal and an assist.
The Northstars dropped all three games on the trip with a 7 to 1 loss to Central Plains on Friday and a 6-0 loss to the Winnipeg Wild, Saturday.
After the weekend, Norman will slip to 1-14 and they return home to face Kenora this weekend.
