Kodiak Girls Lose In Final

The Creighton Kodiak Senior Girls Volleyball team were in Shellbrook this past weekend. It was a strong showing after an opening game loss to Duck Lake. Creighton responded beating Shellbrook and splitting with Spiritwood.


The Kodiaks made it to the Quarter Finals beating PA Carlton, before getting revenge against Duck Lake in the Semi's.


In the final the Kodiaks came out strong winning the first set against Spiritwood, before dropping the next two to finish second. Head Coach Jen Johnsgaard was very pleased with how her team performed.


The Senior Kodiak Girls will be in Carrot River this weekend and the Senior B Girls are off to the Pas.


In the Ralph Pilz Championship Final in Northern Saskatchewan Football it was Cumberland House beating Sandy Bay 44 to 14.
