It was a tough weekend for the Triple A Bantam Wolves who dropped a couple of lopsided games to the Parkland Rangers.
On Saturday Norman had a 4-1 lead after one period but ended up on the wrong end of a 10-6 score. Parkland won handilly on Sunday 12-4. Despite the two losses, It was another good weekend for Justin Lies who picked up 6 points including two goal to give him 37 on the season.
This will end the regular season for Norman who finish up at 6-27-0-0-2. They will now get ready for provincials February the 22nd to the 24th in Killarney.
The Norman Northstars dropped a pair of games to the Eastman Selects 5-3 and 9-3. Flin Flon's Mitchell Reid scored one of the goals to give him a team leading 17 in 27 games.
Norman remain 3-37-0-0-1 and kick off a three game road trip on Friday against the Winnipeg Wild.
