Wolves Beat Central Plains

It was a good end to the road trip for the Norman Bantam AAA Wolves who salvaged a win yesterday with a 6-5 win over Central Plains.

The Pas's Keilan Holland led the way with the hat-trick, with singles coming from Justin Lies, Chase Bertholet and Conroy Halcrow.

The Wolves played 4 games over the weekend and lost in a shoot out 9-8 to Interlake and also lost 7-0 to the Winnipeg Sharks and 9-3 to Central Plains.

Norman's record will slip to 5-16-0-0-1. Congratulations to Keilan Holland, Justin Lies, Chase Berttholet and Carter Anderson who all got invited to play for team North at the Manitoba Winter Games coming up in March in Thompson.

Norman will host Yellowhead this weekend in the Pas.

The Norman Northstars dropped all three games on their road trip including two games to Yellowhead 8-2 and 9-2. They also lost to Southwest on Friday 4-2.

Flin Flon's Mitchell Reid scored three of the team's 6 goals on the weekend and he leads the club with 12 and sits third in points with 18. Jordan Pfoh had an assist on Sunday.

The Northstars are back at home and will host Kenora Friday and Saturday.
