Flin Flon Minor Hockey held their AGM last night in the Northern room at the Victoria Inn. Among the highlights last night included out going President Scott Eastman announcing that he would be sending someone to Winnipeg to become a facilitator to teach Hockey Canada Coaching Clinics locally.
This is important because Flin Flon Minor Hockey would have someone available at all times and they would not have to rely on Hockey Manitoba.
Flin Flon Minor Hockey is financially sound for the season and numbers continue to grow with projected numbers showing 4-5 teams in Novice, Atom, Pee Wee and 2-3 in Bantam. There also could be a possibility of a team in Midget this season.
There were some bylaw changes including who can vote at the AGM, which is now limited to just 1 vote per household. There was also some changes to the way the Disciplinary Committee comes up with decisions on matters.
Current President Scott Eastman also announced that he would be stepping down.
