Kodiaks Close Out 2016 With Win

The Creighton Kodiaks travelled to Prince Albert to complete the final game of their Northern Saskatchewan football season on Wednesday.

Creighton was supposed to complete their schedule at home but there was to much damage to the Creighton field due to all the rain and snow.

The Kodiaks faced SMVS out of Laronge and picked up their first win of the year 45-6.

Bailey Eastman led the way throwing two touchdown passes and scoreing two more on the ground, while other touchdowns came from Linden Moore, Jordan Schanowski and Jaron McDermott.

Creighton also had three interceptions and three quaterback sacks as the defense really stepped up for the final game of the year.

The Kodiaks finish the season 1-3 while SMVS ends up 0-4. Neither team will quailify for the playoffs.
