Kodiaks Push For First

The Creighton Kodiaks get ready to wrap up the regular season for the Northern Saskatchewan Football League when they host Churchill out of Laronge this Thursday at the Creighton field.

The Kodiaks are 3-0 and have outscored the opposition 191 to 64, with 50 points given up last week to Cumberland House.

Laronge is 2-1 and have out scored their opposition 128-38. Churchill has played in a tougher conference the last few seasons and should give the Kodiaks all they can handle this Thursday.

Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk is looking forward to the challenge as he will try to lead his team to another first place finish and home field advantage in the playoffs. They have yet to taste defeat going undefeated last year 7-0 to claim the Ralph Pilz trophy.

Game time tomorrow is 4PM and we will have a complete wrap up including interviews on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com
