Hapnot Collegiate hosted Senior  Pre-Zone basketball this past weekend with teams competing from Flin Flon, Thompson, The Pas and Cross Lake.

The Hapnot Queens went 1-2 in the round robin and lost to The Pas in the Semis.

RD Parker out of Thompson won the final 41-28 over MBCI out of The Pas.

The Kings were 2-1 in the round robin and came from behind to beat  Thompson 51-48 in the final. Hapnot trailed by 12 points entering the fourth quarter, but got back on track to win the tournament.

Next action for the Queens will be in Winnipeg this weekend for the Transcona Optimist, the Kings next action is in Winnipeg the following weekend February the 13th and 14th.
