The high school basketball season kicked off this past weekend with a couple of tournaments.

The Hapnot Kings and Creighton Kodiak boys were in the Pas for the Spartan Tip Off  Tournament.

Hapnot went 2-1 and finished third, while the Kodiaks were 0-3.

The Creighton Kodiak girls were in Nipawin for the L.P. Miller Bears Tournament and they went 1-2 and placed 4th out of 8 teams.

The Hapnot Senior Kings will be in Brandon this weekend for the Sun Spartan Invitational with their first game Thursday against Swan River at 4.

The Creighton Kodiak Girls will be in Birch Hills , and their first game is Friday at 7:30PM.
