In what has been a trying season for the Norman Northstars, a very determined group put in their best effort of the season winning all three games on the road this weekend.
Norman took both games in Kenora by scores of 7-4 and 8-3 and followed that up with a 6-4 win in Interlake this afternoon.
Flin Flon's Jordan Pfoh continued his fine play picking up 10 points in the three games including 5 goals to give him 16 on the season.
Blake Lahonen chipped in two goals and an assist and Derek Koivisto added a pair of goals.
Rylan Potkonjak is back with the team and was a rock between the pipes picking up all three victories with 80 saves on 91 shots.
These were Norman's first road wins of the year and no doubt should be a huge confidence builder down the stretch.
Norman will return home to face the Winnipeg Bruins this weekend, Saturday and Sunday in Thompson.
