Congratulations to new Flin Flon Bomber defenseman, Dane Hirst who has been rewarded for his fine play.

 

Hirst was acquired from the Kindersley Klippers in a big trade just before December the 1st which saw goalie Matt Sankner, forward Drayson Collyer and futures go the Klippers.

 

The SJHL named Hirst it's Defenseman Of The Week today after registering 2 goals and an assist this past weekend against Laronge and Nipawin.

 

Hirst scored power play goals in both games and now has 4 goals and 3 assists in 9 games as a Bomber.

 

The Bombers will get ready for one of their biggest road trips of the year as they travel to Humboldt on Thursday and will challege the number one team and defending league champion Battleford Stars on Friday and Saturday.

 

All three games will be broadcast on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com including the Great North GM Coach's Show at 7:10 each night.
