The biggest high school basketball tournament in the North will take place this weekend at MBCI and Scott Batemen in the Pas.

 

The 8th annual Bill McDonald Memorial Basketball Tournament will start on Friday with teams from Flin Flon, The Pas, OCN, Cranberry, Creighton, Norway House, Thompson, Gilbert Plains and Porcupine Plain all  taking part.

 

The tournament will feature both boy's and girl's games.

 

Games start Friday with  The Pas battling Cranberry at 2pm in the boys at MBCI, and  the Hapnot girls take  on Creighton at Scott Batemen also at 2.

 

There will also be a skills competition Friday at 7 and playoffs start Saturday at 2 with the girls final at 4 and the boy's final at 5:30.
