Fresh off one of the biggest wins in Creighton Kodiak Football history, the Kodiaks will host a SHSAA Quarter Final Playoff game this Saturday.
The Kodiaks will welcome the Birch Hills Marauders to town for a 3pm kick off at the Creighton Field.
Creighton gets the right to host the game after an exciting thriller over Cumberland House, 46 to 38 to claim the Ralph Pilz Trophy this past Saturday.
Birch Hills got by Wakaw in their playoff bracket.
Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk says they have a lot of momentum going into this game." This is great for us and great for the league. This Saturday I want the guys to give it their all with no regrets as we have accomplished a lot this season. We have 4 days to get ready and that is exactly what we are going to do. I want Birch Hills to know they are coming into a buzz saw here."
There are going to be a lot of extra festivities surrounding this Saturday's game including a half time show featuring the Nemihitowok Hoop Troupe Dancers and the Sacred Water Women Singers.
Lauren Fox will sing O'Canada and there will be a concession, ceremoinal coin toss, mascott and lots of prizes.
There will be admission with Adults- $6.00, Students, Grade 7-12-$4.00 and Students grade 6 and under free.
