Northstars and Wolves Season Comes To An End

Both the Norman Northstars and Bantam AAA Wolves saw their season come to an end this past weekend.

The Northstars hosted the Winnipeg Bruins and they dropped both games 8-2 and 16-1.

It was a tough season for Norman who finish with a record of 4-43-0-0-1. It was a good year for Flin Flon's Mitchell Reid who led the team in goals with 18 and finished fourth in points with 29.

Jordan Pfoh led all defensemen in scoring with 16 points in 48 games including 7 powerplay goals.

The Norman AAA Bantam Wolves were in Killarney for Provincials and they lost all three of their games to Interlake 8-2, 6-3 to Eastman and 8-4 to Central Plains.

Flin Flon's Justin Lies scored three goals in the three games and Odin Church played very well in goal  stopping  upwards of over 60 shots a game.

This will end the Wolves season, but Justin Lies year will continue as he has been selected to play in the Manitoba Games starting in Thompson this weekend.
