Ginnell Wins CFAR Million Dollar Hole In One

The 2017 CFAR Million Dollar Hole In One wrapped up yesterday at the Phantom Lake Golf Club.

It was a very successful event which included 4 hole in one's during the week from Erin Ginnell, Blake Alexander, Leon Janvier and 7 year old Lucas Reid.

Alexander and Janvier got theirs on the final day of competition and Ginnell got the first one on the first day of qualifying. Lucas Reid only 7 years old is the youngest golfer in the history of the event to score a hole in one. He got his Friday night.

Three golfers got to shoot for a million dollars including Erin Ginnell who got the closest at 37 ft,2 and a half inches. Blake Alexander was second at 91ft,5 inches and Leon Janvier came third at 100 ft. Erin wins the Missinippi Fly/Golf package worth $7000.00.

The longest drive competition for the men was won by Jason Fehr at 255 yards, and Lauren Fox won the Ladies with a drive of 181 yards.

Natasha Ward was the 50-50 ball drop winner.

Proceeds will go to FF/Creighton Minor Ball and the FF/Creighton Slow Pitch League. A big thanks to the Kinsmen and Rotary for volunteering their time plus a big thanks to all the other volunteers and sponsors for your continued support.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the golfers for coming out, because without you there is no event. It was nice to see lots of new faces this year and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
