Last Thursday Creighton RCMP received a report of a break and enter in Denare Beach where they found four firearms had been stolen from a locked building.  On Friday they received a complaint of break and enter to a residence in Denare Beach where they seized a firearm that had been among the four stolen on Thursday.

On Friday evening a male youth and a female youth were arrested in connection with these break ins.  The female youth has been charged with break and enter, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of stolen property.  The male youth has been charged with two counts of break and enter and possession of a weapon obtained by crime, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, tampering with a serial number of a firearm, among other charges.

On Sunday Creighton RCMP with the assistance of officers from the Creighton Office of the Ministry of the Environment used information from this investigation to secure a warrant to search for stolen firearms at a Denare Beach residence.  A 57 year old man has been charged with break and enter to steal firearms, possession of a weapon obtained by crime, weapons trafficking and possession of a weapon while prohibited.
