Students will mark a special day in their school year

Students at local schools will celebrate 100 days in their school year on Thursday. For example McIsaac School teacher Christine Williams says their kindergarten to grade two students will be following an Olympic theme.  She says they’re going to rotate through five stations where they’ll try the skeleton and biathlon and measure themselves to see if they can shoot themselves a hundred maple leaves long, they’ll be creating their own Olympic gold medals and seeing how many things they can put on their medal in 100 seconds, they’ll be counting athletes in a giant collage totaling up how many they can get and they will be simulating curling by throwing bean bags on to rings adding up to 100.

One hundred days is an annual celebration held at McIsaac and Ruth Betts Schools.
