The Trout Festival Committee held a meeting Thursday night, as they continue to prepare for the 64th festival coming up the final weekend of June. The Trout Festival is in good financial shape with an operating budget of $25,000.00 and another grant coming in for $25,00.00.

Trout Festival President Tim Babcock mentioned at the meeting that despite the influx of cash they are still facing some big challenges including getting enough volunteers to cover the entire festival.

The festival will need to find a new chair person for the 48 hour fishing deby, and will be looking for volunteers to help out on Main street and sell tickets and do security at the Fish Fry. If you are interested in helping out this year, you can contact Tim Babcock at 204-271-3836.
