102.9 CFAR was the corporate sponsor at this past Friday's Flin Flon Bomber game. CFAR manager Dianne Obrien says it was a great oppurtunity to get the station's new logo out in the community and help a local family.

$950.00 was collected for the McKay family who lost everything in a fire just before christmas. Obrien says it is a great experience to get involved in the community especially when Flin Flon continues to show it's great gererosity in helping out people here in our town. CFAR also gave out lots of free stuff featuring the new FM logo.

Obrien added that 102.9 CFAR has lots of great events to look forward to in 2014 including the buisiness radio auction at the end of February and the annual trade leisure show and sale in April.
