Flin Flon’s Recycling Center Administrator Deb Odegaard reminds you they will be closed Wednesday which is New Years Day and the red bag pickup that usually falls on Wednesday will take place on Thursday this week in the Uptown and Creighton areas.  She also reminds you of the Christmas items they can’t take at the Center.  She says unfortunately Christmas gift wrap is not something they can recycle and the other thing is a lot of times some people get packages stuffed with Styrofoam and plastic wrap and that sort of thing and those are not recyclable and should be removed before items are brought to the Center.
