QMC Quantum Minerals Corporation has received the necessary permits for the upcoming drill program on their Namew Lake Project 65 kilometers south of Flin Flon.  A two phase work program including six thousand meters of diamond drilling and refined geophysics is now planned.  QMC’s 39 thousand hectare Namew Lake Project is adjacent to the eastern side of Hudbay’s Namew Lake Mine which they say has produced 2.57 million tonnes of copper, nickel, gold, silver, palladium and platinum within the Flin Flon Mining District.

The upcoming drill program will focus on expanding the previously announced Rocky Lake VMS discovery zone originally identified by Hudbay within QMC’s Namew Lake VMS Project.
