It was a busy summer at the ReStore

The Habitat 53° Chapter of Habitat for Humanity has been busy since the beginning of May operating their ReStore on the armories site next to Twin Motors.  They’ve been accepting donations of and reselling building supplies, furniture, appliances and other gently used, unwanted or discontinued items.  Store Manager Kathy McCormick says it has been a great summer and they are closing for the season on Saturday. She says they had a busy summer raising over 11,500 dollars to help build a Habitat home in Flin Flon so on their final day Saturday they will be holding a customer appreciation day with cake and coffee served to all customers from 1 to 3 o’clock.  She adds they will re-open the store in May.

The ReStore will be open Saturday from 10 to 3.
