Taking walk Saturday will support people with cerebral palsy

The seventh annual Walk for Cerebral Palsy will be held in Flin Flon at Saturday afternoon.  One of the organizers Kim Nelson says they will start and finish at Hapnot Collegiate. She says they will gather at the Collegiate at one o’clock where forms and donations will be collected and will then proceed with the regular 7.2 kilometer route throughout Flin Flon.  She adds over the past six years they’ve raised over 30 thousand dollars for families and individuals with cerebral palsy in Manitoba.  Nelson says if you just want to come out for the walk it’s also about awareness.

Pledge forms are available at Northern Rainbows End on Main Street or just come out to the walk.
