The Northern Neighbors Foundation has released details on the grants it has approved so far this year.  Earlier this spring the Foundation approved four local grants, 15 hundred dollars to the Flin Flon Arts Council for the Norva Center’s visiting artist enrichment program, 5 thousand to the SPCA for landscaping around their building, 25 hundred to Flin Flon School Division for the playground upgrade at McIsaac School and 42 hundred for the Association of Community Living to purchase a computer and desk.

The Foundation also received a donation to be used for a bursary for a student going into health and Hannah Ward of Snow Lake received the Eula and Russell Storey Nursing Bursary worth 500 dollars.
