Area resident Dennis Hydamaka expressed concerns at this week’s Flin Flon City Council meeting about the fact Hapnot Street at the Fifth Avenue Corner has become a commercial travel route with semis traveling south and taking the hill.  He says the street doesn’t have a cross walk, a sidewalk or traffic caution signs and we’re lucky there hasn’t been a serious accident.  Councilor Bill Hanson Chair of the Engineering Services Committee will look at a sewer box that was used as a walkway by area residents to see if it needs repairs and Councilor Skip Martin Chair of the Traffic Commission will see if the trucks are creating a problem.
