The School Board wrapped up the school year last night

The Flin Flon School Board of Trustees carried several motions yesterday at the last regular meeting of the 2012-13 school year.

             

Steve Lytwyn will be appointed the Principal of Ecole McIsaac School and George Trevor will handle duties as Vice-Principal in the new school year.  Teacher Natalie Milligan’s fund raising proposal for next years trip to France was approved. The Board will discuss if any of the fund raising dates will conflict with other scheduled school events.

             

In other news the Ruth Betts Community School family room will benefit from grant funding from Healthy Child Manitoba, Manitoba Children and Youth Opportunities in the amount of 20 thousand dollars.

             

In closing, Board Chair Murray Skeavington thanked the Division staff and trustees for their dedication and wished everyone a safe summer.  The new school year starts on September 4th.
