Former Snow Lake resident Michelle Grimmelt is returning to Flin Flon and Snow Lake this weekend to launch her new book The Aura of the North.  She says the book is a journey back in time and its creative non-fiction centered around her childhood in the 60’s growing up in Snow Lake and in frequent visits to Flin Flon.  She adds it encompasses the culture of the era and she says keep in mind they didn’t have radio or television back then and certainly not computers so it was a whole different time in history.

Grimmelt will be reading from the book at the Flin Flon Public Library Friday afternoon at 4. She will do her book launch in Flin Flon at the Orange Toad from 1 to 3 on Saturday and at the Snow Lake Motor Inn Sunday from 2 to 4.
