The school year is coming to an end

Superintendent Blaine Veitch reported to the Flin Flon School Board meeting last night that on the last day of school June 28th elementary students will report to school for their regular morning start time with report cards handed out and the students dismissed.  The high schools will be open for the morning and students will pick up their report cards from their home room. Parents of students not able to pick up report cards should provide the school with a self addressed stamped envelope.

Veitch thanked Wings Over Kississing for providing flights over Flin Flon for grade six students as well as information sessions on the ground on Monday.  He also thanked Kleen All for a one thousand dollars donation to the elementary school year books and providing the flight costs for the choir instructor that worked with students this spring.

Chair Murray Skeavington noted invitations will be going out to all volunteers who work in the schools to attend an appreciation luncheon.
