A group of students will raise awareness about water

Students from Creighton Community School will hold a Walk for Water tomorrow.  Grade nine student Morgan Switzer explains it’s to raise money and awareness.  She says every day people around the world spend 200 million hours walking for a clean source of water.  She says Free the Children has challenged schools across Canada to hold their own water walk and Creighton is the only school in Saskatchewan holding a walk.  Switzer adds tomorrow about 25 students will be walking from Denare Beach to the Rotary Wheel to raise money for Free the Children and 25 dollars provides enough water for one person for their entire life.

Pledges to support the walk can be dropped off at the Creighton School office.
