The Manitoba Government has announced the latest round of grants under the Community Places Program.  Three projects were approved for Flin Flon including 10 thousand dollars to the City of Flin Flon Parks and Recreation Commission for Whitney Forum Walking Track replacement, 3 thousand dollars to the Flin Flon Public Library for accessible door installation and 10 thousand dollars to the Hapnot Collegiate Parent Advisory Council for Queen’s Park redevelopment.

              The Community Places Program provides funding and planning assistance to non-profit organizations to build, upgrade, expand or acquire projects giving Manitobans access to better recreation, cultural and learning opportunities by renewing infrastructure in the community.
